Premised on the belief that affordable housing is an essential foundation upon which families can thrive, the Lincoln Correctional Facility Redevelopment project will create 105 new affordable cooperative units for households earning 40% to 100% of AMI. Additionally, the new building will include approximately 6,000 square feet of community facility space on the ground floor for vibrant community-centric uses focused on arts, education, and culture.
At 22 stories, the project will be the tallest 100% affordable homeownership project meeting Passive House certification in New York City. The all-electric design and high-performance building envelope will significantly reduce building-wide energy usage to maximize benefits for future homeowners and residents.
